Shima Azizi is a president and Co-Founder of the Humanitarian Peace Foundation. She is responsible for having general and active management for the board of directors’ business and superintendence and direction of all officers of HPF to see their duties are appropriately performed. Shima is a resourceful humanitarian aid and social worker with more than seven years of extensive experience in refugee aid programs and Refugee Law, policies, and Humanitarian emergencies. She worked with Relief International in Iran as a Protection and Livelihood Officer. Shima also worked as a Project Director and the UN representative in ECOSOC for Noble Institution for Environmental Peace (NIEP). She holds her Ph.D. in International Refugee Law and her master’s in Legal Studies from the University of Mysore in India. She also owns her second master’s in International Human Rights and Humanitarian Law from American University. She currently is a Ph.D. Adviser for the programs relevant to refugees, immigration, and humanitarian emergencies at the Department of Law at Noble International University in the US.
