Dr. Narjes Azizi brings a wealth of academic and professional expertise to the board. Holding a Ph.D. in Sociology and an MA in Social Science, Dr. Azizi has a solid foundation in the field. Her journey in academia includes a role as a researcher at the Centre for Culture and Organizational Research (CCOR) at the University of Windsor, where she currently pursues her second Ph.D. in Applied Social Psychology.
Beyond her academic pursuits, Dr. Azizi holds the esteemed position of Honorary Project Director at the Nobel Institute of Environmental Peace in Canada. Actively engaged in humanitarian efforts, she collaborates with the Humanitarian Peace Foundation in the USA, contributing her expertise as a volunteer consultant and data analyst.
Dr. Azizi’s professional journey includes roles as a research assistant and a lecturer at the University of Applied Sciences, Iran. Her research is centered on the crucial theme of trust in relationships, particularly within the realms of corporate social responsibility and social participation in the banking system. Dr. Azizi’s keen interest lies in qualitative research methodology, particularly as it pertains to understanding employee and workplace dynamics.
Presently, Dr. Azizi is an integral part of a distinguished team of researchers and professors in Canada, serving as a research assistant on the project “Canadian Indigenous Conflict Management at Workplaces.” Her commitment to advancing knowledge and contributing to societal well-being makes her a valuable member of our board, bringing a unique blend of academic rigor and real-world impact.
