Pegah Karimbakhsh Asli is Vice President and Co-founder of the Humanitarian Peace Foundation. She is responsible for all the president’s duties during the absence and her responsibilities as a secretary and treasurer. Pegah is a Human Rights Lawyer and consultant with extensive experience and a strong background in working with non-profit and Human rights organizations like the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime, Iranian Islamic Human Rights Commission, Syrian Initiative to Combat Sexual and Gender-Based Violence, and Academy institutions.  Pegah also worked as a Project Coordinator and the UN representative in ECOSOC for NIEP. Pegah holds a Master of International Human rights and Humanitarian Law from the American University Washington College of Law, Washington, DC. and a Bachelor of Law (Civil Law System) from Shahid Beheshti University, Tehran, Iran.
